The Fund

Robert W. Sorrell is founder and President of R.W. Sorrell Enterprises, LLC. specializing in diversity and fundraising consultation. Bob began his career as an educator, teaching mathematics and coaching basketball, but discovered his niche within human services and civil rights: The Urban League Movement. He served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Urban League and CEO of the Philadelphia Urban League. At the latter, Bob started the State of Black Philadelphia Report to encourage leaders to join the Urban League, implemented new programs and services, and instituted the Urban League Young Professionals and Leadership Institute. Bob also expanded the Urban League Guild.
